I’m Taijah, the face of Jaq Poise. As a Toronto-based hairstylist, my passion lies in hair colouring, hair styling, and haircutting. With four years of professional training combined with ten years of self-taught experience, I bring a deep understanding of hair artistry to every client interaction.

I began my hair journey by braiding my own hair, which sparked a passion for installing and colouring extensions. As I improved, I started braiding friends' hair and gaining clients. Each new hairstyle deepened my passion, leading me to work on others and expand my skills. Years of practice transformed my hobby into a thriving venture. Enrolling in trade school for my professional license was a natural step. I learned hair cutting, colouring, and styling from experienced instructors.
